ROOM DESCRIPTION

This was the original farmhouse and now, fully renovated, comfortably accommodates a couple with a further single bed available on request. The Atlantic’s best feature is its conservatory living/dining area with panoramic views over the valley. A modern pellet burner keeps it cosy on dark chilly nights, and its flat-screen TV makes for relaxing viewing of your favourite programs. Large sliding doors open onto a generous elevated terrace with BBQ and al fresco dining, and gated steps give personal access from this terrace to the gardens and grounds of QBV. The fully fitted, custom kitchen has a 4-ring gas hob, full oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, toaster, and kettle. There is also a feature breakfast bar which is part of an inner lounge area. Off the inner lounge is a large bedroom with queen-sized bed, vanity table, wardrobe, and exposed stone feature on the wall. From the inner lounge, you can also access the main bathroom which features a custom walk-in shower. There is a second WC with wash basin accessed via the conservatory; this is very convenient when the single bed is used in the conservatory to accommodate a total of 3 guests. We have sailed across the Atlantic from Europe to the Caribbean, stopping in the former Portuguese colony of the Cape Verde islands and then returning from the Caribbean to Europe, stopping in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. We can guarantee that your Atlantic experience will be a lot more comfortable!
